Since its launch in November 2009 and, until now as many as 15,245 residents of West Jakarta has a National Identity Card (KTP) which is integrated with the Master Citizen Number (NIK) National.

Based on the record of Population and Family Office Civil (Sudin Dukcapil) West Jakarta, from a total population west of Jakarta 1,623,887 inhabitants, 1,291,953 of which include age must have ID cards. West Jakarta Kasudin Dukcapil Achmad Fauzi said, should have all the mandatory ID cards in West Jakarta has a national NIK. Fauzi explained further, KTP national NIK had to use fingerprints and recent photo ID card holders. For that, today, every village office has been equipped with scanners and printers, and fingerprint digital photo equipment. Fauzi explained, the implementation of ID cards to the national NIK is implimentasi of administrative information systems programs for population (SIAK) and welcomed the launch of an electronic ID card. “The value of this model is more ID cards are able to prevent the occurrence of multiple IDs,” he said.
